Beautiful Feminine WordPress Themes for Bloggers

These feminine WordPress themes are easy-to-use, SEO friendly, responsive and pretty!

Out of the six themes I’ve bought over the last six years of blogging, I wholeheartedly recommend four feminine WordPress themes from two specific theme designers.

These pretty themes are search engine optimized, fast and mobile responsive so on your end, they’re perfect for blogging, and on your reader’s end, they’re perfect for reading on any device

When you get a theme from one of these designers, it’s a truly great experience for everyone. This is coming from someone who dealt with trying to use free feminine WordPress themes, unsuccessfully, and tried a premium theme from another developer that just didn’t cut it for me or my audience.

Good to Know: To Buy WordPress Themes or Go for Free?

Before I share with you the best feminine WordPress themes that I’ve bought, it’s good to know whether you should buy WordPress themes at all or not.

I’ll cut right to the chase— free WordPress themes are not worth the amount of time and struggle you need to put into them to get the way that you want. I learned this the hard way.

I’ve gotten free feminine WordPress themes before and they were the most search engine optimized and mobile responsive. They were super clunky and didn’t come with any support from the theme developer, which is key when it needs updates for the latest WordPress.

If you are serious about making it as a blogger, I highly recommend buying a simple or premium WordPress theme because it’s going to make your blog so much more professional and enjoyable for you, your reader and even search engines.

Luckily, you don’t have to go through what I did such as figuring out how to get a few free themes to fit my blog the way I wanted (spoiler alert: they didn’t) and paying for a premium theme that sucked.

These best WordPress themes for blogs are ones that I’ve personally bought, installed and used for years so I know you’ll be happy with them!

Four Feminine WordPress Themes That I Bought and Use

As mentioned above, I’ve bought five WordPress themes in my five years of blogging. After the first one I bought, which I didn’t love using or viewing, I discovered these gorgeous feminine WordPress themes that are:

  • mobile responsive across all devices,
  • SEO optimized,
  • integrated seamlessly with Instagram,
  • rewardStyle/Shopstyle compatible,
  • fast,
  • and oh so pretty on the eyes!

If after checking these out, you need any blogging help, I offer free blogging help in my Facebook group. Come say hi!

1. Modern & Feminine Theme: Audrey

This is one of many feminine WordPress themes by 17th Avenue Designs. This one is called Audrey.

Audrey is the feminine WordPress theme I used to have on this website that you’re on now.

I needed something that would help me highlight all four of my social media brands in a portfolio, share blogging and social media tips, and last but not least, create a shop where I could sell digital products, which is what led me to Audrey.

The Audrey theme would be perfect for you if you are an entrepreneur, own a shop, or like me, are a blogger who wants a mix of a blog, shop and portfolio to allow space for growth in the future.

This theme has it all including that custom Instagram landing page just for your Instagram followers.

Note: As of June 2021, I recently switched themes to try out the one that my ad network (on my other blog) made. It is not feminine or design-focused. It is functional. I would still recommend Audrey or any 17th Avenue themes if design is your focus!

2. Sophisticated & Modern Theme: Vivienne

I used to have this sophisticated, modern and feminine WordPress theme, Vivienne, for my travel and lifestyle blog. I loved the calm feeling I got while looking through the demo, which is what won me over.

The Vivienne theme would be perfect for you if you’re a fashion and/or lifestyle blogger and all-around babe, especially if you’re an Instagrammer. The Vivienne has a custom Instagram landing page just for your Instagram followers.

3. Simple & Feminine Theme: Peony

For my sister’s birthday, I gifted her a blog to go along with her Instagram @savewithskim. She had been using Linktree as the link in her bio, but I knew she’d look more professional and be able to make more money with affiliate marketing if she had her own dedicated blog with savewithskim.com as the domain name.

Since she mainly focused one niche, couponing, and marketed affiliate links through Instagram, she didn’t need a premium WordPress theme like I had so I opted for a simple one! Enter— Peony WordPress theme.

The Peony theme would be perfect for you if you are a blogger or Instagrammer with one or two niches at most. It’s also great if you’re starting out as a new blogger and need a less expensive theme that’s still stylish.

Don’t worry. Just because it’s a “simple” theme that costs less than premium WordPress themes doesn’t mean that it’s not feature rich. In fact, there are a ton of blog post layouts, Shop the Post integration and customization options.

4. Clean and Minimal Theme: The Grid

Normally I get all my feminine WordPress templates from 17th Avenue Designs, but considering my new health and beauty blog will be more informational and less personal than my travel and lifestyle blog, I wanted a clean and minimal WordPress theme.

As a result, this time around I opted for Pipdig’s the Grid, which is not as feminine as the other themes I’ve gotten, but it is the best of clean WordPress themes that I’ve found.

Other Pretty WordPress Themes I Recommend

Besides the feminine and clean WordPress themes that I mentioned above, there are a few others I was seriously considering buying and probably will if I start any more blogs. Note to self: stop making more blogs; three is enough for now!

Here are six other feminine WordPress themes that I absolutely love and recommend. Three of them are simple ones that are easier on your wallet.

Best Premium WordPress Themes

Premium WordPress themes have gorgeous homepages that are designed to stand out and capture your reader’s attention with advanced features. They’re good for bloggers but also great for entrepreneurs, creatives and shop-owners.

Harper

This would be perfect for home, lifestyle or fashion bloggers looking to tie together their blog and Instagram while making money from promoting home and clothing items.

Best Simple WordPress Themes

Simple WordPress themes are just as gorgeous as Premium ones but they’re not as complex as Premium themes making them easier on the wallet.

They’re straightforward and easy-to-use. They come with a blog plus a sidebar making this great for new bloggers who don’t need to expand their blog into a shop, portfolio or more.

Even though they are “simple” themes, they are still packed with the same features that a premium theme has, which include but are not limited to: mobile responsive, SEO optimized, custom logo/header area, customizable colors, Instagram feed integration and more.

MARGOT

This is one of many feminine WordPress themes by 17th Avenue Designs. This one is called Margot.
